Life as Math; Simplification [GAIA NOVA]

Dear Friend,

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

Predicaments present themselves often, typically postured as problems by the ego despite being a part of the solution to its self transcendence. It is in such moments that we must resort to an innate and special sense of maturity, with which we can approach these issues from a vantage that enables creativity and experiential knowledge to coalesce in a way that allows for equalization, as in a mathematical equation; hence the common phrase: “solving a problem.” But creating space between our self and our Self is easier said than done, and calling the predicament(s) of life math equations may be construed as a curious abstraction or an utterly useless metaphor. It is a simplification, yes, but that it is useless remains questionable, for mathematics are the form through which Truth expresses itself most clearly in our reality, and complex math problems must be simplified to be solved.

So, how can the problem of solving our problems be simplified? What is to be done when there is no clear way forward? Simplification! We can simplify the cartesian coordinate system by abandoning it, not seeking to move forward, upward or onward, discarding all these directions for the option to go inward. Doing so requires a reduction to the most fundamental tools we have: our breath and our awareness. In doing so we are met with self-imposed layers of complexification, layers which must be simplified by our most powerful and simple tools, until the ideas of our self are equalized with Reality, and the solutions to the problems posed by life are provided effortlessly by the intelligence of the Self.

Again, easier said than done. But it can be, and therefore it probably should be, too.

GAIA NOVA is dedicated to recognizing and simplifying the problems of the world. Our vision of creating a New Earth is impossible without you. Your unique perspective is integral to the process, which is why beginning in November, GAIA NOVA will begin hosting monthly (online) community meetings where we will discuss what is necessary for cultivating the New Earth. Your input is highly valued. Please reply to this email if you’re interested in attending meetings like this. Also, it would be helpful to our cause if you bought a cool item of merchandise from our store.

Something interesting: Diffraction casting. It’s a phrase from the world of supercomputing that describes a breakthrough process of running computations on lightspeed instead of electricity. Essentially, it combines layers of light images to produce a new image or output, which can then be converted into digital data for further processing. By improving the efficiency and flexibility of optical components, diffraction casting aims to make optical computing more viable for future technological applications, such as medical imaging, machine learning, etcetera. If you’re not tired after reading all of the above, you can read more about diffraction casting here.

With Love,
