Dear Friend,
How do we know what we know?
Life is full of uncertainty, but humanity has found stability in the experiential wisdom of our ancestors. As children, we trust the words of our elders because they know more than we do, and we intuitively acknowledge the gap in knowledge as a gap in experience. Based on respect for our elders’ experience, we base our behavior in and understanding of the world upon it.
But from where does that intuitional acknowledgement come? How is it that children know without being taught to smile in joy or cry in distress? Why is there familiarity in the pain of grief felt for the first time?
A theory by Rupert Sheldrake PhD proposes a reason for this phenomenon called morphic resonance. Morphic resonance is the idea that Nature has an inherent memory, that the so-called laws of nature are really more like habits; that each species has a collective memory of form, instinct, and behavior. Morphic resonance is a process by which forms and patterns become increasingly probable because of past occurrences.
Sheldrake uses this concept to challenge the the traditional view that genetics alone determine biological form and behavior, suggesting that organisms also inherit habits and developmental patterns from a collective memory field — implying that human traits, instincts, and even cultural tendencies may be shaped not just by genes, but by resonance with predecessors and their history. GAIA NOVA believes that the pain perpetuated in contemporary culture is a result of modern humanity’s unconscious fixation on the pain of the past, like an adult with self-destructive habits as a means of avoiding childhood trauma.
By creating products that uplift those who consume them, GAIA NOVA seeks to shift the collective’s memory away from the traumatic pain of our species’ history. To that end, we’ve created Theowater with the intention of raising the vibration of bottled water in order to raise the vibration of the individual who drinks it—like a solute introduced into the body’s internal water, the solvent, transforming the whole through resonance. Similarly, we incorporated Children of Gaia Nova as a 501c3 and are selling positive messages and angel numbers on quality clothes to make impressions on peoples’ subconscious in a positive way.
Please consider supporting us by contributing to the Theowater GoFundMe or purchasing an item from Children of Gaia Nova’s shop. 100% of the profits to CGN will help us in our goal to build temple-orphanages for the inspiration of the geniuses of tomorrow. We are officially a registered 501c3 as well, so if you want to donate outright, we are glad to accept.
As always, I’m honored by your attention. Thank you for reading this. Please don’t be shy to reply. What do you think of the theory of morphic resonance?
With Love,
