Dear friend,
Does your left hand know what your right is doing?
It’s a question of attention which calls to our awareness the hardware of the human mind: The brain. The brain is at the core of the mystery of our existence, and despite its obvious complexity, its major functions are determined by only four parts, whose intercommunication generates the observable universe through conscious cognition. Further generalized, the brain is composed of two parts: Left and right.
These words are especially loaded with political connotations due to the context of contemporary society, with its ongoing conversations about opposites unfortunately positioned as oppositions of identity; whether democrat or republican, black/white, capitalist/communist, pro/anti-[insert topic here] – and so on. Viewing the world through the lens of opposition is the source of much contention indeed, and interestingly, this behavior is only a reflection of our own anatomy and its function, for our brain’s left and right hemispheres are positioned against each other for optimal performance of tremendously different forms of the same action: attention.
What and how we attend to things equally shapes us and our surroundings. The left hemisphere, with its mode of specialization and compartmentalization, charges us to take note of the finest details and group it with things of the like, where the right hemisphere inspires us to associate information collected from the present environment combined with memory combined with our imagination into a holistic bigger picture. Children of Gaia Nova is dedicated to sharing the bigger picture with all of humanity, with the intention of encouraging all Earth’s inhabitants to be inspired by our shared, beautiful story, rather than remaining focused on our differences.
What if all of the children across the world, from every continent, culture and language, were united in friendship? What if every person had access to clean drinking water and shelter, and the idea of lack was left as a dusty artifact of humanity, not to be remembered because everybody is overwhelmed by the abundance of Earth?
Children of Gaia Nova is fully focused with the power of both hemispheres on experientially realizing the answers to these questions. Our attempts at doing so involve our premier business, Theowater, and our concomitant charity project: Foundation of Gaia Nova. The Foundation of Gaia Nova is a registered 501c3 which will direct our collected resources to underserved/underdeveloped areas around the world with the technology of atmospheric water generators, providing clean drinking water straight from the air.
Among the most impressive and functional attempts at generating water from the atmosphere is the Moses West Foundation. Mr. Moses West is addressing the issue of water scarcity himself, using technology he invented, in one of the most immediate ways currently observable. Please pay his website a visit here if you’re interested.
With Love,
