New Paradigms, a New Earth [GAIA NOVA]

Dear friend,

What would it mean to change the world?

For millennia, humanity’s way of life has been relatively static. Yes, our species has advanced technologies, updated some ideas/ideals, and shifted political and religious tendencies. Yet the fundamentals haven’t really changed: small groups hold overwhelming power, that power is used to exploit the majority, violence is still the primary tactic for addressing conflict, and individuals generally choose to live individually rather than collectively.

But since 2020, there has been an ever-increasing sentiment, subtle and powerful, that things must change. People en-masse and across cultures sense there is something wrong, and public discourse is changing, albeit slowly, as the people who will birth the new paradigm separate from those who choose to be fixed in the old way of life.

Children of Gaia Nova is changing and growing, too. Our organization began as an unclear vision with the mission statement: “Hosting projects encouraging Love of humanity and Earth.” It’s still true, but since our origin in 2022, Children of Gaia Nova has become a charitable organization focused on orphan welfare, become its own subsidiary of GAIA NOVA, which now hosts our fashion line and premiere product, “Theowater” — each with their own specific missions and services. We’re honored by your attention and look forward to seeing you grow with us.

There is a wealth of proof of the new paradigm taking form, from soil regeneration projects to educational programs to environmental action agencies: People are working around the world and around the clock to create the change that must happen. The Rajkumati Ratnavati Girls School is an excellent example of its expression. Built in 2021, this school was built in a region of India which has the lowest literacy rate among women in the country; not to mention the structure was erected in the center of the desert. To combat extreme heat, its architecture was designed to catch the wind and funnel it throughout the classrooms, lowering the building’s median temperature by 10° compared to the temperature outside its walls.

We live in troubling times. Please do your best to remember that your very attention is contributing to the solution; and so focus on the goodness that’s happening.

With Love,

David W. Black
